This position is funded for twoyears, with the possibility of further extension. The work isfocused on the development of Adeno-associated viruses (AAV)vectors for the treatment of inherited retinal disease. A highlymotivated individual is being sought who is a self-starter, hasexcellent interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, attention todetail, and good work ethic. This individual must be dependable,and able to work both independently as well as a team-player.Candidates should have a strong background in molecular biology.Preference will be given to applicants that have demonstrated theability to work as part of a collaborative team and have a stronginterest in translational research.
