Guest speakers include activists and academics from the Australian Indigenous, Jewish, Greek and Assyrian communities who will share experiences of trauma, upheaval, tragedy and Genocide during the 20th century. The Return to Anatolia organisation is a joint effort by members of the Armenian, Greek and Assyrian communities here in Australia who trace their roots back to this region of modern-day Turkey. Their aim is to inspire and educate a wider Australian audience as to the tragic events that took place in Anatolia before, during and after the end of World War I.
